gosh, serial links and rc style servos make things really easy..
a lot of electronics, ribbons, mechanics - looks really complicated and.. amazing

12 years old project... would be nice to see it's working again

Wow...granted it's twelve years old, but even in those days they had semi decent micro-controllers that could've gobbled up a mammoth amount of that circuitry/wiring!!

Still, it'd be great to see if you could get it walking again....
