OpenCV Computer Vision

Hi Tony.

Firstly, are you using VB 2005 or VB6.

As far as I'm aware, EMGU and OpenCV wont work in VB6 so it has to be in VB 2005

Secondly, have you managed to get any of the code I sent you to work?

You should unzip the file in your Projects directory. this is usually

My Documents\Visual Studio 2005\Projects\

It should then create a subdirectory called VBMD. In there you will find the VBMD.SLN file. Do not try and open it from the .vbproj file.

All the main files are inside \VBMD\bin\Debug

If you need to create a reference then these are the ones you should reference. Dont be tempted to reference any others on your system as they will be an earlier version and will not have the mods done for me in them.

I am going to create a thread in the Software section to continue this discussion...

MATT.... If you are watching and If its possible, can you shift this discussion across to a new discussion in the software area please.

Hi Paul,

Sorry for late reply of this topic! I'v never been software session before. I am learning VB 2008 (.net). and I am translating my engine from VB6 to VB.net. the reason is ONLY because of your codes

When I run the codes, if the camera detected and connected, there is a memory error jump on the screen. if I remove the camera, it said "unable to connect camera", then when I try to close it, the close_threading session got unknown error.
