congratulations matt on the new kit. and for its first sale. it looks great.
congrats to imagineering for having the first kit. we look forward to seeing it.

As discussed with Matt, I'm using different Servos, HXT900's, so I need to slightly modify the Upper Coxa Bracket to fit them. 3mm Washers are also needed between the Hex-Engine Mounting Bracket & the Top Chassis Plate for clearance. The HXT900's are 1.5mm taller in height. I'll post Photos as soon as the build is complete.

After having to redesign & Laser Cut new Coxa Brackets, (no fault of Matt), I now have the Kit Built, but need to aquire the Electronics from Matt before it progresses.

Modified Coxa Plates to take Hextronic HXT900 Servos. Not a recommended way to do it unless you have access to CAD and a CNC Laser Cutter.
I do like the Blue & Orange colour scheme though.

Just awaiting some Brains now . . .

Paid for the u P-Brain & Parts at 8:30pm 2nd July and recieved the goods at 9:30am 8 July in New Zealand.

Well done for a prompt service. It often takes longet than that to get parts inter-Island.

What charging procedure do I use for the NiMh Battery Pack?

You should use a suitable NiMh charger.. many to choose from on-line which cater for several battery technologies. I charge my packs at 2A, although I believe they are rated higher.
