I plan to do a video of the Gripper kit in action within the next few days, I have just purchased a couple of these joysticks. I currently only have one 2 axis, 8 button stick that was proving difficult to control all of the axis of the hexapod. So hopefully with two 3D sticks things will be a little easier :).

I also had to altered/updated the PODJoy control software to accommodate the new PTTG head, also added a relative/absolute control button. In relative mode the hex can be manipulated into a position without having to keep the joystick in the same place... useful when you have a limited number of joystick control axis!

Hi David,

No news I'm afraid, I have been busy on a large project and as such haven't had much kit development time. I do have the p.Brain-µ24 pcbs being manufactured as we speak, these will be an alternative to the p.Brain-SMB/ds24 combo and reduce the kit cost a little. :)

Should I wait then to buy the MSR-H01 hexapod if you are working on new brains for it?

The new p.Brain-µ24 unit has been finished for a few months, and is now the standard controller for our kit.

Matt have you released this version of PODJoy incorporating the PTTG head?

Not yet, I was still tinkering with it, but didn't quite finish a release version.
