I'm not going to use the servo splines. I'm going to drill a 5,5mm hole 4mm deep into all the mounting spots. I made a steel servo spline which I will force into the PC. Now it’s easy to fit them
onto the servo’s and they will be tightend with a M3x8 bolt.

I didn’t glue the servo’s together. I don’t like working with glue and other materials. The technical aspect of the hexapod means a lot to me so I will leave all the “standard” components unmodified and will use proper bolt connections for all the fittings. Also I want to point out to you that this is only a sample. I’m working on the final drawings which I’m planning on cutting tomorrow. Here the Coxa servo’s will be bolted together like I did in my previous hexapod.

Cheers Dennis

Matt,

I’m currently helping on a robotics stand at a hobby/miniature event in Leeuwarden – the Netherlands. I brought my hexapod as static and there’s loads of visitors who are interested in the hexapods and robots in general. Can I forward them to your site (hexapodrobot) if they want any further information?

Cheers Dennis and greetings from Leeuwarden!

Personally I would've thought the more traffic to this site, the better :) Can't see Matt having a problem with that, at all 8-)
