Ok, how the dickens do I use this? Put the hex in PIP control from Matt's s/w, close the app, spark this up and way to go? Or, does this automagically connect to the hex and put it in PIP control?

Hi there

This is designed to send the PIP protocol direct to the Hexapod.

On mine, I had the config port hardwired to one port and this application sending to a bluetooth adaptor on the second hexapod port.

If you intend to use to the one port then you will need to use teraterm to put the bot in PIP mode before connecting with this application.

You will also need to make sure the terminal port is configured as both config and control, check the uart configuration section in the HexEngine User guide. CN18 JP1 & JP2.

Yup, only got the one port configured, so used teraterm to wake the hex and put it in PIP mode. Quit teraterm and sparked up this lil app. Worked like a gem

Well thats a step in the right direction..

It is only an example and doesnt have all the synchronised commands built in but it should give enough of an example for someone to build upon..
